has over 40 years experience in photography, emphasizing corporate and public relations images. Whether your need is head shots or something more involved you can expect the final images to be creative and appealing. The goal is to create images that you want and need.
Susan has been in and around photography since 1963. Her father was an amateur photographer shooting weddings in Black and White and printing them in his basement darkroom. On her 13th birthday she received her 1st 35mm, SLR camera and learned to print in her father's darkroom.
She received her B.S. from Wayne State University and with a Fine Art scholarship she concentrated on photography. Soon after Susan was doing public relation and corporate photography.
Some of her photographs have been published in, Town & Country, Style Magazine, Hour Detroit, Miss Kitty’s Journal, Crain’s Detroit Business and many local news publications.
She has donated her photographic services to such organizations at The Michigan Humane Society, Juvenile Diabetes, Muscular Dystrophy, Karmanos Cancer Institute and Hospice of Southeast Michigan.
In addition to corporate and public relation photography Susan worked for 8 year as a wedding photographer and still occasionally will photograph a wedding. She continues to do family portraits, …big and small!
She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (http://www.ppa.com ) and the Photographic Society of America (http://www.psa-photo.org/ ) . Susan held the President’s position for Motor City Camera Club (www.motorcitycameraclub.com) for 10 years and continues as Secretary and Print Director. She has also been a member of Michigan Friends of Photography. Presently she is a member of the Livonia Networking Professionals (www.livonianetworkingprofessionals.com )
